Ebooks

I created this page when the publishing world was very different, and e-book publishers were a special category. That's not the case anymore. Virtually all of my books and many of my short stories are now available as e-books -- even some that aren't in print in any other form.

But one of the nifty things about e-books is that they provide a form where works of any length can economically be sold. I've made some of my individual short stories available as 99-cent e-books, and here they are:

The Abduction of Ebenezer Scrooge

(Also available as an e-book, but free rather than 99 cents: "The Abduction of Ebenezer Scrooge," only (as yet) from Smashwords.)

How to Prosper During the Coming Zombie Apocalypse I hesitate to mention it, but there's also an item I wrote specifically to be an e-book. In 2011 I tried to cash in on three fads at once -- e-books, zombies, and financial advice -- by combining them in a short piece called How to Prosper During the Coming Zombie Apocalypse. It was intended to be humorous, but alas, I wrote it very quickly without any sort of editorial feedback, and the result lacks that quality known as "being funny."

I was aware enough of its shortcomings to put a different name on it, and credited it to Nathan Archer.

Here's a link to its listing on Smashwords:
