COLOR Bibliography
for Lawrence Watt-Evans
Short stories
So here's the deal: This is a bibliography of my published short fiction, but with the titles color-coded to indicate the story's genre.
Red indicates a horror story -- red as blood. Green, the color of a dragon's hide or an elf-maiden's eyes, means fantasy. The deep blue of Cherenkov radiation denotes science fiction. And white means contemporary fiction with no horrific or fantastic elements at all.
Not all stories fit neatly into a single genre, though, so you'll also find dark fantasy, science fantasy, SF horror, SF with some fantasy elements, fantasy with some horror elements, SF with just a trace of the fantastic, and so on.
So there you go.
This list is based on a bibliography last updated early in 1997; it's not complete, and is especially weak on the periods from 1995-1998, and 2001-on.
