A Young Man Without Magic, first in a two-book deal with Tor, is now available in hardcover, with the paperback scheduled for March 2011. The second volume, Above His Proper Station, is scheduled for November 2010. I regret to say that the publisher does not make it clear in their packaging that these are more or less the two halves of a single story.
The thirteenth chapter of Realms of Light, the sequel to Nightside City, has been posted. The first draft has been completed -- twenty chapters -- and sent to donors.
FoxAcre Press has reprint trade-paperback editions of Shining Steel and Denner's Wreck available now. These include new "Author's Notes" at the back. Denner's Wreck has been retitled Among the Powers.
I'm still trying to dispose of much of my comic book collection; if you'd be interested in buying some of it, please check out the list I've posted. (Be warned, I haven't been as careful as I should be about keeping it up to date.)
I'm planning to start a new Ethshar serial in 2010. Barring major surprises, it will be The Final Calling and will begin no earlier than April 23rd. Further details will be announced eventually.
The latest Ethshar novel, The Vondish Ambassador, is now available in multiple editions, including a limited first-edition trade paperback. You can find the Wildside hardcover and trade paperback at the usual online outlets. Most of the print-run of the first edition has been distributed, but the few remaining copies are offered on my Books for Sale page. The previously-announced mass-market edition from Cosmos will probably never appear; the Cosmos line has suspended new title operations.
