Bruce Coville invited me to write a story for a kids' anthology about aliens. I wanted to write a story with a long, whimsical title. This was the result. As a story it's not bad, but I'm particularly proud of the title.

It originally appeared in Bruce Coville's Book of Aliens: Tales to Warp Your Mind, and is reprinted in my collection Celestial Debris.
